This day seminar in Tromsø focuses on the remodeled heart. The lectures cover different experimental models used to study remodeling and progression to heart failure in rats and mice. The role of diet and gender will be discussed. Both extracellular events, i.e. fibrosis, and changes at the cellular level will be presented.

The day seminar is hosted by the Cardiovascular Research Group at UiT The Arctic University of Tromsø. The seminar is free of charge, and refund of travel expenses is available to all student members of NORHEART.
