The main purpose of the Exercise in Medicine Seminar is to discuss recent progress in the use of exercise as medicine. The scientific program includes lectures from invited speakers on dementia prevention, cardiac remodeling, biomarkers of cardiovascular health, and the biology and genetics of exercise as medicine.
This year’s seminar is dedicated to Øyvind Ellingsen (Professor in Cellular Cardiology), who is retiring after a long and interesting career. At his request, the seminar will end with a session on the “Next Frontiers in Exercise as Medicine”.
On the evening of December 14, the social program is extended with a poster and dinner party.
