NORHEART is proud to announce our 2017 Masterclass organized in collaboration with Nature! We offer two days of interactive sessions and unique scientific feedback from editors in Nature journals. Chief editor of Nature Reviews Cardiology, Professor Gregory Lim, will be running the workshop!
The Masterclass is aimed at NORHEART PhD students and postdocs with supervising responsibilities, both those who attended in the 2016 Masterclass and those who are new to NORHEART Masterclasses.
Day 1 will cover topics including “What makes a Nature paper?”, “Structuring your paper”, “Experimental Design and Reproducibility”, “Working Collaboratively”, “Measuring Impact”, “Writing a Research Summary” and “Plagiarism and Other Ethical Issues”. References will be made to published clinical and basic science Nature cardiology papers. On Day 2, you will get personal feedback from the Nature editors on your research abstract.
The Masterclass will take place at the beautifully located Scandic Hotel Havna at the summer island Tjøme. Participation at the course will include networking opportunities, dinner and one night accommodation. Travel expenses to/from Oslo will be covered by NORHEART, and bus transportation will be provided Oslo-Tjøme-Oslo.
