Professor Sigurn Halvorsen receives the Heart Research Award by the Norwegian Health Association.

Sigrun Halvorsen is professor of medicine at the University of Oslo and leader of the Department of Cardiology at Oslo University Hospital, Ullevål. She is awarded the price for her long-standing contribution to improvement of treatment and new guidelines within the field of cardiology, in Norway and internationally, and for her solid competence in research communication and translation of research results to clinical practice.
