NORHEART is proud to have organized our 2017 Masterclass in collaboration with Nature!
45 NORHEART members attended the NORHEART Nature Masterclass 2017 June 12th-13th at Scandic Hotel Havna, Tjøme. Attendants included mostly PhD students, but also medical students, postdocs and junior group leaders with supervision responsibilities. The course was fully signed for 50 attendants at deadline in March 2017.
The Masterclass consisted of two days of interactive sessions and unique scientific feedback from editors in Nature. Chief editor of Nature Reviews Cardiology, Dr. Gregory Lim, and Chief Editor of Biological Sciences in Nature, Dr. Francesca Cesari, were heading the workshop.
NORHEART networking was extensive, and included scientific speed-dating, walk-and-talk, and an outdoor barbeque dinner in nice and sunny summer weather.
