In October, NORHEART welcomed PhD candidates from across Norway to its annual Introductory Course in Cardiovascular Research and Medicine.

Over the course of one week, participants took part in lectures, group work and discussions covering core topics in cardiovascular physiology, disease and research. The programme introduced both experimental and clinical research methods and provided opportunities to meet leading Norwegian cardiovascular researchers and fellow PhD candidates in the field of cardiovascular research. Participants received 5 ECTS credits upon completion.
